Compared to motorhomes, 5th wheels are much more cost-efficient. A motorhome with the same amount of space as a 5th wheel could cost up to 3X more than the 5th wheel. The price is so much higher because motorhomes come with engines. And although you need a truck to tow your 5th wheel, the price of the truck and 5th wheel together will still be far less than the motorhome.
